Not so "happy" New year...

Well a lot has changed since my last post...

Shortly after returning back to Utah from being home for Christmas break I got a phone call that I didn't ever wish to receive....

January 9,2010 Brendan broke things off, I'm only blogging about it to avoid any questions because quite frankly, I don't want to talk about it, I don't feel the need to talk about it and more than likely it's none of your business.... That being said, I know people have been frequently checking up on here trying to get new updates about Brendan and I because so far that's mostly all I have blogged about... that will obviously no longer be the case. To avoid anyone asking me why, I quite honestly don't know why..  but I do know that he is going through something none of us can imagine unless we have experienced it. Initially we were going to work on things and try to be each other's rocks.... but things have since changed. He has someone else in his life and I've accepted that fact. My life has been a battle of ups and downs and I know it won't stop here, I care about Brendan and his family deeply and I wish them all the best. This is just one part of my journey in this life that I can't control, it's happened before and I'm sure that it will happen again. I appreciate all of the support that everyone gave us throughout our relationship and I know a lot of people are let down by this, but as I always say, "C'est La Vie..." I hope this answers questions for you all, I am not going to explain anything else, I just know how many people have been asking me about it and I'm sorry if I haven't replied to e-mails or messages about this subject. 

On a lighter note, I met Leigh Anne and Collins Tuohy (The mom and daughter from the story "The Blind Side") today and they were so inspirational, Leigh Anne makes me want to be a better person and she is so sweet.

Thanksgiving

Well since it is Thanksgiving and all, I decided to share what I'm thankful for... First and foremost, I am thankful for mine and my family's health, knowing that an illness isn't taking over our lives is truly a blessing. I am thankful for my wonderful family, my amazing friends, my biggest supporter Brendan McAllister and my life (which gets better each day).  I am thankful for our Troops, I think more and more people are forgetting each day that we are at war and people take the life he or she is blessed to live daily for granted.  I am thankful to be an aunt,a sister, a daughter,a best friend,a niece, a student, a photographer, a lover, a cousin,a girlfriend and someone who is surrounded by amazing people in her life. I'm realizing more each day what is truly important to me and finally understanding the things that just don't matter. I can't believe the Holidays have already arrived, but this is my favorite time of the year. Ready to see what the next year has in store for me. Happy Thanksgiving.

New to this...

Well I have decided to jump on the blogging bandwagon.... everyone seems to be doing it, so I figure why not!?

I am currently a senior and I will be graduating in June!!! woohoo!! only a few more months to go! After I graduate, I am planning on attending either Texas Woman's University or University of Texas at Arlington for Nursing.

I work at a gymnastics and cheerleading gym in a nearby city and I absolutely ADORE my job.

I have also been running my very own photography business since my sophomore year of high school, at least that is when I started getting paid for it! =D
Majority of everything I blog about on here will probably be about photography, it's what I love and adore the most!

We moved down to Texas in August of 2006, and although I loathed it when I first got here, It has grown on me!

I am the happiest I have ever been in my life right now and I have my family,friends and awesome job to thank for that!
